Established on passion and miles, Rusty and The Truckin Bassets is a longstanding over-the-truck driving team with some of the best four-legged shotgun riders: 11-year-old Harvey, 7-year-old Lilli, and 11-month-old Walter. Home to America’s most traveled basset dogs (1.5M miles and counting), The Truckin Bassets is a space where you can discover an entire insider look at a basset dog’s life on the road ranging from belly rubs to scenic pit stops. And as an 18+ year truck driver who volunteers with Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Basset Rescue of Georgia, and Belly Rubs Basset Rescue, be prepared to come across several side missions consisting of dog rescues and new owner transports along the way.

Formed with an innate love for animals and a rich understanding of how to raise, train, and care for basset hounds on the go, The Truckin Bassets is a unique corner of the internet where all walks of life can deep dive into what it is like raising dogs in a trucker lifestyle. From educative posts from a nearly two-decade driver who has had dogs as driving partners since day one to photos and videos of pups living their best lives.
